The 3,200=TEU Source Blessing was hit by an unknown projectile about 35 miles north of Jebel Ali early on March, 12 reported the UK's Seatrade Maritime News. .
All crew are safe. Maritime security firm Vanguard said the vessel was struck at 2:20am local time. The Source Blessing is registered to Well Wonder 1 Ltd in Fujian, according to Equasis. It is chartered to Hapag-Lloyd, which has sublet the ship to alliance partner Maersk.
