TAIWAN's container carrier Evergreen Marine has informed the Taiwan Stock Exchange that ten of the 2,800 TEU boxships recently ordered from Japan's Imabari Shipbuilding and Taiwan's CSBC Corp will belong to its wholly owned subsidiary, Greencompass Marine S.A.

It was earlier reported that the Taipei-listed shipping company had made a new order for ten more 2,800 TEU vessels from the two shipyards. However, it's now been confirmed that only a total of 20 such vessels had been ordered by the company.
