CHINA Southern Airlines has announced the launch of three new flight routes from Beijing, including the carrier's first service between Beijing and Shanghai's Hongqiao Airport.
The airline is offering from its new domestic terminal in Beijing three new routes to Hangzhou, Chengdu as well as Shanghai.
The Beijing-Shanghai service, flight CZ3907, departs from Beijing at 0820 hrs and arrives at Shanghai Hongqiao at 1020 hrs. On the return leg, flight CZ3908 takes off from Shanghai at 1130 hrs and lands in Beijing at 1330 hrs the same day. A Boeing 777 is being used on the service, a statement from the mainland China carrier said.
Meanwhile, the Beijing-Hangzhou flight, CZ3905, departs from Beijing at 0930 hrs and arrives in Hangzhou two hours later. Return flight, CZ3906, leaves Hangzhou at 1240 hrs, touching down in the capital at 1440 hrs. This service uses an Airbus A330.
Finally, the Beijing-Chengdu service, flight CZ3903, departs from Beijing at 1440 hrs and arrives at Chengdu at 1710 hrs. Return flight, CZ3904, takes off from Chengdu at 1815 hrs, and scheduled to land in Beijing at 2015 hrs.
