Gold Star Line boosts vessel size on China to Indonesia service, CTI
GOLD Star Line is preparing to triple its container shipping capacity on its weekly CTI service that plies the trade between China and Indonesia by increasing the vessel size from 2,500 to 4,000 TEU, to meet rising demand.
The upgraded CTI service will commence on May 12 with three vessels on a 21-day rotation.
"China and Indonesia are two of the fastest growing economies in Asia and we are providing an express link between major ports in both countries to meet growing demand from our customers," said managing director Danny Hoffmann.
The port rotation is: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Jakarta, Surabaya, Kaohsiung, returning Shanghai.
