OOCL cancels four transpacific sailings in April
HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is withdrawing four sailings on two transpacific services in April, the Pacific China South 1 (PCS1) and Pacific North West 2 (PNW2). The decision was prompted by expected low market demand. The void sailings on the Pacific China South 1 (PCS1) service are scheduled to depart from Fuqing on April 5, April 12 and April 26. The port rotation of the PCS1 is: Fuqing, Nansha, Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, Los Angeles, Oakland, returning to Fuqing. On the Pacific North West 2 (PNW2) service, the sailing from Yantian on April 14 will be cancelled. The port rotation for the PNW2 is: Yantian, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Seattle, Vancouver, and Qingdao.
