Hapag-Lloyd and ONE remove three port calls from NPX service

GERMNAY'S Hapag-Lloyd and Ocean Network Express (ONE), which cooperate on the North Sea Poland Express (NPX) service, will withdraw three port calls from the service.

The two shipping lines have started removing the ports of Helsingborg, Rotterdam and Antwerp from NPX service's rotation this month, which will now include only the ports of Hamburg in Germany, and Gdynia in Poland.

In Hamburg, NPX will call Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA) and Container Terminal Tollerort (CTT), according to Hapag-Lloyd's statement, reports FreshPlaza, Netherlands.

As the ports removed from the NPX service ports, they will continue to be served via additional feeders, but will no longer be part of the rotation, the carrier explained.

Additionally, instead of two vessels, the partner liner operators will deploy only one container ship, the 1,700 TEU Rijnborg, on the NPX service.
