HAMBURGER Hafen und Logistik AG's Italian terminal in Trieste, HHLA PLT Italy, has welcomed the arrival of the container vessel line Ocean Network Express (ONE), which for the first time calls at the city in the North Adriatic inaugurating the start of the new service, Adriatic Israel Butterfly (AIB).
The AIB service connects the North Adriatic with Egypt in one loop, and Egypt with Israel in the other, according to Greece's Container News.
Additionally, the new container service has a weekly rotation and calls at the ports of Koper, Trieste, Venice, Ancona, Piraeus, Alexandria, Damietta, Haifa and Ashdod.
ONE's director of Marketing and Commercial for Europe & Africa, Stanley Smulders, commented: "With our new AIB service we are able to demonstrate how ONE is committed to providing excellent, reliable and extensive services that meet our customers' needs.
