MANILA's International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) has outlined its next port development, an US$800 million terminal with over two million TEU capacity in Bauan, Batangas to the south of Manila's island of Luzon, reports Singapore's Splash 247.

The facility will include a 900-metre quay and at least eight ship-to-shore gantry cranes. Construction will start in the first quarter of next year.

※With the first berth scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, the terminal will become a catalyst for economic growth across Southern Luzon, creating jobs and accelerating regional development,§ said the company statement.
