GENEVA-BASED Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) will implement the following General Rate Increase (GRI) effective October 15th, reports the American Journal of Transportation.

Cargo from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Middle East, Saudi Arabia (only Dammam & Jubail), Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates will charged US$1,500 per dry or reefer TEU if destined for the US east coast, Gulf Coast and San Juan.

Note that the above GRI is in addition to the October 5 GRI.
