THE Ningbo Port Group Beilun Second Container Company reported that it handled 806,000 TEU between January 1 and June 9. The figure is slightly ahead of the company's 805,000 TEU throughput target that the company set for the first six months of the year.

In addition, the company reported that four new container services were introduced at its facilities during the first five months of 2004, of which, three are international services.
