Maersk Line cuts TA4 service on transatlantic for slack winter season

MAERSK removing the TA4 transatlantic service and reduce three other, the TA1, TA2 and TA3 for the slack winter season with the last westbound TA4 sailing departing Bremerhaven in week 44.

Cargo moving on the TA4 will transfer to Savannah-bound A3 service with the following westbound rotation: Antwerp, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Le Havre, Savannah, Charleston, Freeport, Veracruz, Altamira, New Orleans and Mobile before returning eastbound through Veracruz, Altamira, New Orleans, Mobile, Freeport, Savannah, Charleston, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven and back to Le Havre.

Thus, Newark/New York coverage remains with the TA2 service as follows:westbound, Bremerhaven, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Le Havre, New York, Baltimore, Norfolk, returning eastbound through Baltimore, Norfolk, New York, Bremerhaven, Felixstowe, Antwerp and Le Havre.

Rotterdam to New York/Newark coverage (westbound only) will continue to be served through a seasonal offer operated by MSC which we will call the TA New York. This will start rotation departing from Rotterdam on October 31.
