COSCO Container Line says that its Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) for the month of February will be US$111 per TEU for both east and west bound shipments between the Far East and Northwest Europe/Mediterranean Sea.

At the same time, the company also announced that Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) for February will be 9.8 per cent based on ocean freight (with hanger surcharge if any).

The company said the new rates do not apply to shipments destined for Israel to where the BAF has been adjusted since January 15 2005 to US$92.5 per TEU, and US$185 per FEU.
