Cargojet 2018 profit up 16.9pc to US$14 million, revenue rises 18.8pc
TORONTO's Cargojet pretax profit (EBITDA) increased 16.9 per cent year on year to C$18.5 million (US$14 million). drawn on revenues of C$454.9 million, up 18.8 per cent.
Fourth quarter pre-tax profit (EBITDA) increased 7.8 per cent year on year to C$40.2million, drawn on revenues of C$132.6 million, up 12.2 per cent.
"Cargojet continued to produce strong revenue and EBITDA growth in 2018," said CEO Ajay Virmani. "The continued year-over-year results are a direct reflection of the Cargojet team's efforts to provide a first class service."
Cargojet is a provider of time sensitive overnight air cargo services and carries over 1,300,000 pounds of cargo each business night. Cargojet operates its network across North America each business night with a fleet of all-cargo aircraft.
