Hactl scoops another handling award - this time a green one
HONG Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has been named "Best Green Air Cargo Terminal Operator" in this year's Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards.
The awards were launched in 2015, and are designed to recognise leadership, consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability.
Following an initial nomination round (against criteria set down by organiser Asia Cargo News) to determine the eight leading companies in each of the 51 categories, the 15,000 readers of Asia Cargo News are then invited to determine the winners - making the results the opinion of service users, rather than those of a panel of judges.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony held recently at the Asia Society Hong Kong Centre.
Hactl Chief Executive Wilson Kwong, who received the award from Darren Barton, Publisher of Asia Cargo News, said: "On behalf of my team, I thank all those who supported us with their votes, and I dedicate the award to the wonderful people of Hactl whose constant efforts and devotion to duty have enabled us to prove that it is possible to operate in an environmentally-responsible manner, while still providing an efficient, professional and competitive service."
