ZHEJIANG Haigang Shipping, a unit of Zhejiang Seaport Group & Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group, has commissioned Yangfan Group to build four 1,868-TEU ships. This is the second order from Zhejiang, having already won an order to build a 18,000-dwt domestic chemical tanker in January. The containerships will have advanced features in energy conservation, advanced energy efficiency and a high degree of automation, said the Yangfan Group builder. Through this winning bid, Yangfan Group and Zhejiang Haigang Shipping have worked together for the first time, said the Yangfan Group statement.
