HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has announced the cancellations of several Pearl River transpacific sailings in July and August, but restores one from Shanghai.
The July 10 Shanghai sailing, cancelled on June 5, will be restored in the Vietnam China Service (VCS) that rotates through Ningbo, Long Beach, Oakland, Lianyungang, Shanghai and back to Ningbo.
Cancelled will be the July 24 Fuqing sailing in the Pacific China South 1 (PCS1) service that rotates through Nansha, Yantian, Xiamen, Los Angeles and back to Fuqing.
The July 25 Shekou sailing will cancelled on the Pacific North West 1 (PNW1) service, which rotates through Shekou, Hong Kong, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Vancouver, Seattle, Busan, Kaohsiung and back to Shekou.
The August 11 Qingdao sailing will cancelled on the East Coast China 2 (ECC2 service, which rotates through Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Colon, Savannah, Charleston, Boston, New York, Colon, Qingdao.
